Tips & FAQ for Registering for 5K for Epilepsy

Q: Can I only sign-up online?
A: If you're participating in a team or virtually, you'll need to sign up online. Individuals can sign up on event day, but will not be guaranteed a shirt in their requested size(s). In all instances, it is better to sign-up online. Get started by clicking here.

Q: I'm not from Arizona or will be out of town the day of the event, can I still participate?
A: Yes! You can sign up to be a "Virtual Participant" and still provide your support without physically being at the event. Click here to start the registration process and make sure you choose "Virtual Participant."

Q: I don't want to participate but still want to make a contribution, how do I do that?
A: Yes! Just click the "GIVE" button in the middle of the upper navigation menu.

Q: How do I create a team?
A: When registering, select "Create a Team" then choose your desired category.

Q: How do I join a team?
A: When registering, select "Join A Team" and choose your category, then search for the name of the team you wish to join or the name of the team captain.

Q: Can I register more than 1 person at once? (For example, I want to add my child/friend/sibling to my registration)
A: Yes! Once you choose your own registration and complete your information, in the "Review and Billing" step you'll see an option to "Add Additional Registrant" just under your registration before you enter your billing information. Click that button and then choose the category for your additional participant.

Q: How do I check back to make sure I'm registered at a later date?
A: Come back to this site (epilepsy5k.org) and log in at the top right corner of the site using the email and password you created when you registered for the event. Your fundraising dashboard gives you tons of options to help get the word out, raise donations, recruit team members (if you created a team) and to add additional registrants to your registration.
