I’m participating in the New Hope Community 5K Run / Walk / Roll to support a community where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are seen, valued, and empowered to live full lives.

New Hope is about connection and possibility: friendships, independence, confidence, and community belonging. The funds raised through this event help strengthen the programs and experiences that make those things real.

My connection to New Hope:
Attending and working at SUNY Sullivan has given me the oppurtunity to interact and witness the good New Hope does within not only it's own walls, but the community! You can often find me in between classes in the New Hope Garden, found right onsite of SUNY Sullivan. Many public events on campus you can find the residents of New Hope attending right alongside SUNY Sullivan students and employees.
