INTRODUCING: THE NEW HOPE COMMUNITY 5K RUN / WALK / ROLL

The New Hope Community Run / Walk / Roll 5K was born from an idea shared by our staff and the people we support: Let’s create something that brings everyone together.

This inaugural event is a grassroots fundraiser designed to reflect who we are: a community built on connection, belonging, choice, and joy.

Our top fundraiser will receive a vacation package to Los Establos Boutique Resort in Panama*

Start a Team or Come as You Are

Whether you fundraise as a team or participate on your own, you are part of something meaningful.

Join Us

Be part of the inaugural New Hope Community Run / Walk / Roll 5K.

Move with purpose.
Celebrate community.
Help build something new.

What to Expect

  • A welcoming kickoff
  • An accessible 1 mile route
  • Music and community energy
  • Medals for all participants
  • Activities and vendors
  • Smiles, high-fives, and celebration

This is our first year and we’re building something that can grow with us for years to come.

Purpose

Yes, we’ll move with some walking, running, and rolling across the beautiful SUNY Sullivan campus.

But this day is about more than miles.

It’s about:

  • Seeing one another outside of programs and meetings
  • Families meeting other families
  • Staff showing up alongside the people they support
  • Neighbors discovering who we are
  • Partners celebrating shared impact
  • Furry friends (leashed, of course!) joining the fun

This is a day where the entire New Hope community shows up together.

Impact

The funds raised will support programs and opportunities that create independence, connection, and possibility for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

But the real power of this day is the community it builds.
