We’re participating as a team in the New Hope Community 5K Run / Walk / Roll because we believe in building a community where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are seen, valued, and empowered to live full lives.
New Hope is about connection and possibility. Friendships. Independence. Confidence. Belonging. We created this team to show up together, invite more people into the New Hope community, and help strengthen the programs and experiences that make those things real.
Why we’re Team Fitzgerald:
We are Team Fitzgerald in honor of our son, Sean, whose life has been enriched by the support, friendships, and sense of belonging he has found at New Hope. Seeing his growth and happiness inspires us to give back and help ensure that others can experience the same opportunities.
