On behalf of Care Dimensions, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported our 39th Annual Walk for Hospice. While we were unable to gather in person, we were incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support, grace, and understanding from our walkers following the cancellation.
Although many were understandably disappointed, countless participants shared that their efforts were not in vain. Participants still walked in honor and memory of their loved ones and remain committed to supporting the Care Dimensions mission. We are deeply moved by their generosity, compassion, and dedication to the patients and families we serve.
More than 750 people registered for this year’s Walk and have brought us over 90% of the way to our fundraising goal. These funds help provide compassionate hospice care and support vital programs, including bereavement services, complementary therapies, family assistance, and more.
And in the wise words of AJ Burnett, WCVB Meteorologist and our event emcee, “The need for palliative and end-of-life care will always be there, rain or shine. And even if we can’t walk this year, we can still make a huge difference.”
