The 9/11 Heroes Fund is dedicated to honor and assist the children of certified 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund recipients. A child's presence in the barn grooming, feeding, and caring for our horses reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and improves overall health. MET's 9/11 Heroes Fund can be used to be on a MET competition team or through the Equine Opportunity Program.

n addition to equestrian related education curriculum, MET 9/11 Heroes Fund participants also participate in the Alternative Learning Program (ALP). ALP is focused on STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), Career Development, Financial Literacy, Creative Thinking, Literature, and more. All classes build upon students’ equestrian experience. 

It is the companionship between equine animal husbandry and incorporating this with quality education that provides the foundation of children's growth, sound body, and sound mind to become aspiring and life changing leaders.

Your contribution towards this fund, no matter how big or small can help many children who have to watch their families suffer through the biggest fight of their lives, whether you donate $5 or $500.
