Delaware Valley Area Races

Nemours has recently become a charity partner with several races across the Delaware Valley as well as runDisney! Opportunities include the chance to sign up for these races as part of the #RunNemours team to raise awareness and funds for different Nemours programs and services. For some races, participants will receive guaranteed race entry and other incentives for achieving a fundraising goal. Volunteer opportunities are also available for select races.

For Nemours Associates, this is also a great opportunity to earn Health and Wellness points towards YOUR Health for a Community Benefit Event – and these events directly support Nemours! Live Like Lukas
Going on Now | Multiple Distance | Virtual Event
 

This year, Live Like Lukas has partnered with 6AM Run on their first virtual run! Registration is now live! You can choose a 5k, 10k, half or full marathon and can run it anywhere, nationwide. This group is planning a meet and greet in the Wilmington, Del. area for anyone who would like to save $5 on registration and pick up their finisher package in person. Chester County Turkey Trot
Nov. 26-29 | 5K | Anytime, Anywhere


Plan on a festive Thanksgiving holiday weekend and help raise funds to support childhood cancer research at the Chester County Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk. This year's event is going to be an awesome VIRTUAL 5K race/walk!  Although we might not be able to be together this year, the tradition of this annual event can still bring us together for a great cause!  

 

 

 

 

Delmarva Dash
May 15-16 | 200 Mile Relay | Save the Date

The Delmarva Dash is a two-day 200-mile team relay race organized by the Delmarva Dash Foundation to benefit the Nemours Fund for Children’s Health and A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children.  A team adventure relay race with a breathtaking purpose, the Delmarva Dash will bring together runners and volunteers, sharing their time, their thoughts and themselves while racing down the Delmarva Peninsula on a spring weekend, all dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support kids with cancer.
