We serve teachers and students in nearly 200 schools across six school districts in the Charlotte Region. While most of our region’s students will be learning remotely, a computer with wifi isn’t the only supply they’ll need. Remote students will still take notes with pens, pencils and paper. They’ll need pocket folders, binders, and backpacks to stay organized. And they’ll take art class with crayons, markers, and glue. Remote learning has actually increased our community’s need for supplies because classrooms can no longer share materials, and now even more families are experiencing financial hardships.
