Please donate to our team's virtual supply drive!
Many of the children we help support are in homes affected by unemployment, so if there is a choice of food or school supplies…what would you choose?
We’re setting a goal of 5 Classrooms sponsored by the Law Department, which equates to just over what the notebooks cost last year…Think about how you would like to help the community around you and remember…we are all blessed to be in a profession where we can work from home, have not lost a paycheck, and in many cases are financially better off without having to pay for things associated with going to work…gas, car repairs, lunches out, etc…why not share with those less fortunate?
Classroom Central equips students in need to effectively learn by collecting and distributing free school supplies to their teachers. We serve teachers and students in nearly 200 schools across six school districts in the Charlotte Region.
While most of our region’s students will be learning remotely, a computer with wifi isn’t the only supply they’ll need. Remote students will still take notes with pens, pencils and paper. They’ll need pocket folders, binders, and backpacks to stay organized. And they’ll take art class with crayons, markers, and glue. Remote learning has actually increased our community’s need for supplies because classrooms can no longer share materials, and now even more families are experiencing financial hardships. See how Classroom Central is taking action this year by reading their FAQs.
Donate to our virtual supply drive to help Classroom Central prepare 127,000 local students for back to school.
