Ally Lending

At Ally Lending, we have incorporated and adapted to live by the traditional Ally mantras of Do It Right and Be (Even) Better. While the COVID-19 situation has thrown us challenges, it has allowed us to find The Good and stand by our commitment to our customers, to our communities, and to each other. While we don't have the ability to donate our time physically through volunteering given the current environment, we can still do our part in helping those in need, and what better way to start than with our children. Remote learning has actually increased our community’s need for supplies because classrooms can no longer share materials, and now even more families are experiencing financial hardships.This year, 1,000,000 school supplies need to be raised, and our support at Ally Lending can make all the difference in the lives of children specifically in the Charlotte-Mecklengberg area.

Classroom Central equips students in need to effectively learn by collecting and distributing free school supplies to their teachers. We serve teachers and students in nearly 200 schools across six school districts in the Charlotte Region.

While most of our region’s students will be learning remotely, a computer with wifi isn’t the only supply they’ll need. Remote students will still take notes with pens, pencils and paper. They’ll need pocket folders, binders, and backpacks to stay organized. And they’ll take art class with crayons, markers, and glue.
