As you know all to well, JA's Achieve-A-Bowl is the highlight of my year! I have been a part of this successful fundraiser for over 20 years and together we have helped nearly 100,000 young people participate in JA programs. I am hoping today you will join me in in my goal of raising $750 to support the JA mission - to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
JA programs help children make connections between what they are learning in school now and how it will be applied in their future. From staying in school to exploring careers and post-secondary opportunities, JA is teaching young people about money, careers and how business works.
This school year, JA will reach over 12,000 young people in Rhode Island. Nearly 80% of our programming is happening in our most underserved schools. However, JA needs our help to make sure these programs happen.
