What is Adaptive Awareness Day?

Adaptive Awareness Day is an in-person ski day paired with online fundraising. The purpose of Adaptive Awareness Day is to raise awareness for adaptive sports and support fundraising efforts for Central California Adaptive Sports Center (CCASC). CCASC is a non-profit that provides outdoor adventures to persons disabilities.

We are hosting this online fundraising campaign where people can raise funds through their own fundraising page. Our event fundraising efforts peak with an in-person ski event at China Peak Mountain Resort, March 1, 2025. Fundraising efforts for this campaign start now and continue through March 18, 2025 and make a world of difference in the lives of our participants.

Ways to Participate

1) Join us March 1 (8:30a-4:30p) at China Peak for a fun-filled ski/snowboard day. Ski or snowboard in costume, participate in a selfie scavenger hunt on the mountain, sell raffle tickets, play games at the base of the mountain, and enjoy FREE pizza and a drink. Those who register for the in-person event can purchase discounted lift tickets for $45. Group/team costumes are encouraged.

2) Fundraise online for CCASC (now - March 18): Sign up to fundraise from home and receive your own fundraising page. You can then promote fundraising via email, social media, you name it! You won't believe how easy it is to rally support for CCASC!

  • NOTE: We'll give you all the tools and support to help you reach your goal.

  • Create your personalized fundraising page and set a fundraising goal.

  • Start fundraising to reach your goal by March 18, 2025.

3) Donate.

4) All of the above! Enjoy a day on the mountain and fundraise from home through March 18th.
