30 years since the first case in Hawaiʻi was discovered, our communities and families still struggle with AIDS and HIV, including more than 700 people living with HIV on Oʻahu today. Some of my favorite people have dedicated their careers to prevention, education, and healing. I am honored to be able to support their work.
I first got the opportunity to work with H3RC as an organization when serving with Mayor Caldwell at the Department of Community Services. The work this incredible organization does around meeting our communities where they are, serving those experiencing homelessness, and deftly working in and out of institutional spaces is inspirational to say the least. Mahalo for your generous support of their work in servicing our ʻohana!
