Purve Donut Shop is celebrating this year’s 30th AIDS Walk Anniversary with delicious RED donut specially created for this momentous event. Pop by throughout the week at all locations to enjoy this delectable pastry. Purve is generously donating 100% of proceeds to HHHRC. Magnifique!

June 8th & 22nd Organized Sign Waving Outside the State Capitol, 3-5pm

Take this opportunity to bond with your community and join us for a sign waving campaign to bolster HIV/AIDS Awareness. Bring your own sign and wear RED to remember that AIDS is not over!

 

June 13th Ala Moana Beach Park Roller Skating Scavenger Hunt, 6-9pm

This fun event is organized by Kelli with Eye Photography and will benefit various local LGBTQIA+ organizations. Come out for an evening of fun and frolicking like you haven’t been able to do in a year!

 

June 16th – June 30th “Bid for Life” Silent Auction

A fun way to support the Honolulu AIDS Walk and score some cool items!  This Silent Auction promises lots of fun items and destinations from which to choose.

 

June 17th Rainbow Town Hall Panel Discussion on History and Future of HIV/AIDS in Hawaii, 6pm

Join us as we discuss our history with HIV/AIDS as a community and how our future is shaping    up with the care and prevention programs offered by HHHRC. This Town Hall is a sponsored by our friends at Hawaii LGBT Legacy Foundation.

 

June 23rd Food Drop, 1pm-3pm

With the help of the Hawaii Foodbank and local farmers, we are able to offer food drops each month. Come out this month either to volunteer or take advantage of this free program. This very special TV Event is hosted by the illustrious Brook Lee and features Dr David McEwan,   founder of Life Foundation/HHHRC; Jack Law, owner of Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand and original board member of Life Foundation; Andrew Ogata, Events Manager HHHRC, and Kunane Dreier, LGBT Program Training & Manager; Heather Lusk, Executive Director HHHRC; and Lt Governor, Dr Josh Green. Also, we have a special appearance with Henry Kapono who will delight us with his music/song stylings and tell us about the history of the arts and AIDS awareness in Hawaii.
