Some of you know that I was born with Bi-lateral cataracts and had six eye surgeries before I was seventeen months old. After those surgeries I am now considered Aphakic and legally blind. At the age of three the optic nerve in my right eye died and my vision was greatly impacted.
Because of my vision loss I have other sensory things that have impacted my life. I have a heightened sense of smell and hearing to just name a few. I’ve also been diagnosed with ADHD.
