Alatheia's most inquisitive horse is Andor (meaning Thor's Eagle). He always wants to be in your business - checking pockets for treats or chewing on lead ropes and reins. This, and his larger-than-life personality, makes Andor a favorite among his riders. He's also popular among most of the mares in the herd who allow him to call all the shots.
Andor's large size provides a lot of movement for his riders. This is especially helpful with those riders who have sensory seeking tendencies. They love all that physical input that help them to feel grounded and secure. His sure footedness and calmness under pressure make him a valued addition to the equine therapy team.
Andor is generously provided to Alatheia through a long term loan from Judy and Don Phelps of Hard Row to Hoe Vineyards of Manson, Washington.
