We live in a time when information and innovation are moving faster than ever. Entrepreneurs are out in force, seeing opportunities in solving the world's challenges. And we, as Angels, are in the thick of it with them, sleeves rolled up, opening our wallets and opening doors, making it possible for them to move their work forward. From grassroots to globally competitive ventures, that work changes our communities, our nation, and our world.
The startup world we work in is moving and changing rapidly. We are facing changes and challenges at a magnitude and speed that we cannot keep up with as individual investors or groups. We must adapt and apply it to prepare the next generation of changemakers and builders in innovative ways.
To that end, ACA has formed the Angel Investor Foundation (AIF) and the Seed the Future Campaign, with the goal of reaching out to attract and develop unreached investors and entrepreneurs in diverse communities. To ensure the success of this growing body of Angels, the Foundation will also support reach-forward initiatives with the objective of identifying and implementing powerful future-focused tools in data analytics and syndication.
All of us have achieved success throughout our careers which in turn has enabled us to be a part of this exciting asset class known as “angel investing”. We now have a great opportunity to support the rising generation of entrepreneurs and investors and shepherd them on the road to success and shared prosperity. The time is now to make a stretch commitment for the outreach, innovation and growth that will ensure prosperity for generations to come.
