Dear Family and Friends,
Last year, I was honored to participate in the Parkinson’s disease walk, raising awareness and funds to support research, education, and services for those living with Parkinson’s disease. We were “Leora’s Team” in honor of my mom, who also has Parkinson’s.
Unfortunately, this year I won’t be able to participate in the walk on September 19, 2026, because I will be recovering from foot surgery the week before. Although I won’t be walking this year, my commitment to this important cause remains as strong as ever. Did you know…many symptoms of this disease are hidden, but they are very real to me. Silent symptoms can include: speech and swallowing issues, depression & anxiety, sleep disturbances, loss of sense of smell, stiffness, perceived muscle weakness, micrographia.
