My mom was diagnosed with Parkinson Disease 14 years ago and it changed the course of our lives. Watching my mom battle this complicated disease has been heartbreaking, especially as she progresses into the advanced stages. Since I’ve been more open about my mom’s journey, so many of you have reached out to share that your families have been impacted by this disease too. I’m getting involved because I do not want those who are currently diagnosed, and those who will be in the future, to go through the same pain my mom does 14 years into their diagnosis. Let’s raise some money today to show we care!
