Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page for the APDA Optimism Walk! I am turning 65 this August and have been fighting Parkinson's for 8 years now. It's getting tougher for me as time goes on and I just want to help. This is a terrible disease and I would hate for you or a loved one to get it. But the facts are grim.
Every six minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (PD).This is the one that matters most, It's simple we need to raise money to find a cure and to make life easier for those of us who are suffering.
Funds raised enable the APDA to continue providing local education, information, and support, as well as critical nationwide virtual programs to keep everyone connected no matter where they live. You will also help fund scientific research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and ultimately a cure.
