Jack was diagnosed with stage 4 T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma of both kidneys in March 2016. He has embraced a fierce determination from Day 1 to not let this diagnosis or the grueling treatment change who he is or what he does in life. In short, he is an inspiration in how he lives his life and his ability to take this seemingly devastating detour in life in stride. He has taught us perserverance, positivity and that you push through the worst and make the most of it.
Our family has been rocked by this landmine of a diagnosis and we'll never be the same. But ASK has supported us from the beginning. The ASK 5k is a way to celebrate Jack and all that he has perservered through, knowing he still has a ways to go. We also celebrate the heart and dedication of ASK and what they do for the countless families such as ours.
That's why we participate in this race, and hope you will join us as we celebrate another year of Jack in his successful battle against cancer, and the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation!
