When Landon was 5 weeks old, he was diagnosed with stage 2 Neuroblastoma. After hearing this devastating news in the hospital of MCV, our greatest fears started to surface. The next few weeks were a blur or chemo, blood transfusions, surgery and countless doctors and nurses. The staff at MCV cried with us, smiled with us and gave us hope for our child.  Our ASK family helped us stumble through that year and celebrated Landon becoming cancer free around his one year birthday.  Landon is now 8 and is smile and energy are contagious. Without our ASK family, we probably wouldn't have swimming lessons on Saturday mornings or build rockets for cubscouts. There might not be Legos and Batman toys scattered throughout the house.  For that and God's amazing grace, we will forever be grateful to MCV and ASK.
