Please join me on April 28 at The Diamond in Richmond, VA for the ASK 5K. We'll be walking/running in loving memory of Jennifer, whose big smile and beautiful spirit will always burn bright in all of us.  This is also a great way to raise money for ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, which was a very special organization for her.

Childhood cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death among children and adolescents in the U.S, according to the National Cancer Institute. With more than 2,000 children losing their lives to cancer each year, we HAVE TO FIND A CURE.

The 12 types of childhood cancers combined receive only 4 percent of U.S. federal funding for cancer research. So it’s up to us and the amazing organizations around the world to find a cure. Although considerable and encouraging advances have been made, it's not enough. It absolutely breaks my heart to see a child struggling with cancer, as well as the toll that it takes on their family.  Collectively we can make and will make a difference.
