Dear Friends and Family,
It is the Hanukkah season! This means that just like my politics, with my holiday observances, I get to be a speck of blue in a sea of red!
And that is just what I plan to do, hopefully with your help sponsoring my upcoming run benefiting Bert's Big Adventure, a nonprofit that takes children with terminal and chronic illnesses on a magical, all-expenses-paid, 5-day journey to Walt Disney World!
It's not that I am declaring a war on Christmas; it's just as a gay man who believes that color is a language, blue and silver are clearly the better fashion choice than red and green.
I plan to shine brightly as the one blue menorah at the Atlanta Santa Speedo Run event, a 1-mile fun run through Atlanta on December 10th. Don't worry; I will keep my gelt-maker well covered as I run faster than your clay dreidel is dry and ready--to spin.
Please help me raise funds for Bert’s Big Adventure so that they can continue creating amazing experiences for children with special needs and their families.
