This year, I'm walking with extra purpose as The Children's Heart Foundation celebrates 30 incredible years of funding research that saves lives and changes futures. My son, Kaisen, was diagnosed with CHD when I was 22 weeks pregnant. He fought everyday to make his perfect appearance on earth. He then fought for 17 days in the CCU. He had a wide variety of diagnoses but that didn't stop him from becoming my little miracle. He was born January 2, 2026 at 9:08am weighing 5lbs 14.5oz 18.5in long. He then had a surgery to put in temporary pacing leads. The doctors wanted to see if he would need a surgery to make his heart a single ventricular pathology before they cracked his chest since he needed a pacemaker and they didn't want to do it twice. At just 17 days old, he passed away. I fundraise in honor of my angel baby, Kaisen. 

It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward the next 30 years of hope. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation's crucial mission—advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research that improves survival rates, reduces complications, and helps Heart Warriors celebrate more birthdays than ever before.
