My son Nico is 5yrs old he is non-verbal autistic. He was diagnosed when he was 3, but that does not stop him from anything he loves giving hugs, shacking hands, telling everyone he sees "HI". He has learned so much and has also taught us so much as well. He loves puzzles he does them once facing up then he flips them over and does them up-side down thus is why he is our PUZZLE MASTER.
I recently accepted the challenge of participating in the Autism SHARE Walk benefiting SHARE (Sharing Hands A Respite Experience). SHARE envisions a world where parents w ho have children with special needs have access to supportive programs that enable family members to experience the joy of thier journey. SHARE partners with all family members where there are children with special needs supporting their efforts to maintain strong and successful families.
