Many of you know that serving those facing homelessness, addiction, and hardship isn’t just my profession but my calling.
As Executive Director of Star Gospel Mission, I have the privilege of walking alongside men and women every day as they work to rebuild their lives. I see firsthand both the challenges people face and the incredible power of hope, structure, and community.
On May 24, I’ll be participating in “A Walk in Their Shoes”—an early morning walk through downtown Charleston designed to deepen awareness of what many of our unhoused neighbors experience and to raise critical support for the Mission’s work.
I’ll be walking not just as a participant, but as someone deeply committed to this cause.
For more than 120 years, Star Gospel Mission has served Charleston’s most vulnerable, helping people move from crisis to stability through shelter, recovery, work, and hope.
My goal is to raise $2,500 to directly support that mission.
