Thank you again to all of the donors last year and an extra big thank you to those who joined us on the boards! It was a misty morning but we still had a great time catching up, tiring out the kids and then having some drinks and Sawmill pizza afterwards. Fingers crossed for a sunny, spring morning this year! As of member of the Board of Directors, I was recently able to join the residents of Ocean's Harbor House for a "donor dinner" - residents, staff and supporters gathered together to learn more about the program and see how these youth, who would otherwise be homeless, are able to build their lives with the support of OHH. I was blown away by the community they've built and the progress they've made to prepare themselves for independent lives. Your support makes such a significant difference in their journey. In 2024 alone, OHH provided 3,104 bed nights, 877 counseling/case management sessions and over 9,300 meals. Your support means the world to them and everyone involved with this organization. The total number of homeless individuals in Ocean County increased 24% over 2023. 45% of those experienced mental health issues, food insecurity and chronic health conditions. The need for help is real and urgent.
