I chose a photo of me and my brother growing up in Queens New York. Our family cancer journey start in 2018 when he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and passed away three weeks later. The same journey occurred with my mother in 2023. I was left to wonder if I was next and I was. In 2024, I got diagnosed with a rare ovarian cancer. I use resources each and every day. I volunteered at Cancer Support Community before my diagnosis. Now I wear two hats-volunteer and cancer participant. They provide so many services and for free!! to anyone impacted by cancer. Help me reach my goal. Thank you and smiles.
