Why I participate in Bark on the Beach

For as long as I can remember, animals have been the center of my life. They've shaped who I am, inspired my career as a certified veterinary technician (CVT), and reminded me every day why compassion matters. Every animal deserves to feel safe, loved, and given a chance, no matter where they come from.

That's why I'm so excited to be walking in the 15th Annual Bark on the Beach to support Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI). ARRI gives hundreds of homeless animals each year the medical care, shelter, and love they need until they find a family of their own.

Last year, Team Wiener Dog raised $1,601, and seeing so many people come together for animals was incredibly meaningful to me. This year, I'm hoping we can make an even bigger difference.
