All, I've committed to get myself in shape, leave my family for three weeks, and raise funds (read: $10,0000) to help others with bleeding disorders in developing countries live a better life. Those of you who know me well know that I have dedicated myself for more than 20 years to E.C. Week helping those with intellectual and developmental disabilities experience the best week of their lives. This year I am instead asking for your support to help me raise funds for those in developing countries that don't have access to the necessary medical resources needed to live independent and productive lives. Save One Life also supports a similar camp program to change participants' lives and allow them to participate in acitivities they may never have thought possible. In addition to an amazing cause, this effort will allow me to cross off a long time bucket list item. For your support, I'll be joining a small team and trekking to Everest basecamp at over 17,500 feet above sea level in Nepal, as well as having the honor of visiting facilities and homes of beneficiaries of the work of Save One Life.net in Kathmandu.
