This year we thought about riding the 30 mile - but considering we sustained a two-bike crash thirty seconds into last year's Bikeathon, it's probably better we take it easy.

The DeSantis sisters will once again be participating in the 10 mile Bikeathon for Bikes Not Bombs this year in Boston.  Bikes Not Bombs provides bicycles and basic yet essential mechanic classes for those in need, leads global and local community projects centered around sustainability, and uses the bicycle as a vehicle for social change, pun intended.

With partners in Africa and Latin America, and programs designed for young women to take the reigns on their life, Bikes Not Bombs works tirelessly (we use wheels on our bikes) towards a more accessible and empowered future.
