Hello friends, family, lovers, and newcomers,

My name is Evan Pommerenk and I am a surfer, paddler, outdoorsman, and most importantly an Ocean Lifeguard II at Huntington State Beach. This will be my 3rd year crossing the Catalina Channel in support of the Ben Did Go Foundation and in honor of the fallen lifeguard Ben Carlson. As an ocean lifeguard myself I respect the legacy that Ben Carlson has left behind and I believe it is my duty to cross this channel in his honor as well as fundraise for a great cause. If you donate to me you have my word that I will paddle that channel with all the strength I have and land in Newport Beach victorious. Some of my paddle accolades include Catalina Classic 2024 finisher, Prones Brigade Cup holder numerous times, Stock Chapel FKT holder, El Moro Classic 2024 4th place finish, and Watermans 2025 4th place finish. As you can see I am an experienced and strong paddler that will give you a good bang for your buck. I love all of you and thank you for supporting my cause.
