To say I am excited to participate in the BENDIDGO 11.0 alongside so many great people this year is an understatement!!
It was two years ago that I first heard about the BENDIDGO and the Ben Carlson Foundation's investment in the local and global community supporting water safety and those those involved in it.
On September 19th, I will paddle the 30 mile Catalina Channel alongside 100 men and women. In the meantime, I am looking for your support to reach my fundraising goal and directly impact this important cause.

Keeping the legacy of Ben Carlson alive and well! Ben, a Newport Beach Lifeguard went on his final rescue on July 6, 2014 and it claimed his life. The foundation works to impact things that truly mattered to Ben such as:
Access to local Jr Lifeguard Programs for those that need financial assistance
Providing Safety equipment and lifeguard education to under resourced, international lifeguad agencies
College Scholarships to lifeguards
Resourcing the Newport-Mesa school district’s free after-school Swim and Water Safety program with essential swim gear for lesson students
