Hello! I'm excited to ride and support Bike Not Bomb's Bike-A-Thon 2022. This organization's mission aligns the vision of Boston I have; one that's equitable, accessible, and working towards a healthier environment for the future. BNB repairs and donates thousands of bicycles a year to the global south while also providing bike repairs, mentorship, and safety training to local youth in Boston. Pedestrian safety is part of Boston's "Vision Zero", a commitment to eliminate fatal and serious traffic crashes by 2030. As someone who often commutes via bike to work, as well as spend weekends exploring local parks, I'm familiar with the dangers presented by cars and reckless drivers. Supporting this organization directly betters our road safety, our youth, and our environment.
