I've been a low-key supporter of Bikes Not Bombs for many years, but as I've gotten more involved in Boston's biking community, my support for hwhat they do has grown immensely.  

They are a Boston-based charity, working in both our local and the global communities, using bicycles as a vehicle for social change, focusing on marginalized communities here and in the Global South - reclaiming bikes from our waste streams, providing opportunities for youth in Boston to train as bike mechanics and making the reclaimed and refurbished bikes available to those in need here and overseas.
