A Message from Water Rats

Welcome to our team fundraising page for the Bikes Not Bombs (BNB) Bike-a-Thon 2022. We are helping raise money for BNB because we support its mission: to help people in difficult circumstances around the world (e.g. those in war-torn countries) get to work and school by sending bicycles abroad ... AND to provide skills training and community to youth in the city of Boston by training kids on how to repair and restore donated bicycles to be sent abroad. What a wonderful and sustainable mission. They've been doing it for over 30 years, and we hope you will support them. We do!

So named to ironically claim ownership of an ancient pejorative rumored to have originated among the teens of olde Belmont township, Massachusetts, as a nickname for the sporting youths of the City known as the Town of Watertown, Belmont's gifted southern neighbor.
