Give to Bikes not Bombs

Old folks biking for good causes!

This will be my second day of a weekend 100 plus mile fundraising marathon, sponsored by BikingOLD  (B.OLD), an organization I founded for the old at heart which bikes to raise funds for good causes, either having to do with bicycling or old people.   (The first for Pedaling for Payson, helps cancer patients up in NH)  B.OLD’s big fundraising campaign will be in two years, when I plan – at 70 – to bicycle across the country, a half century since the last time I did that trek back in college.  The money for that trip will be used to raise awareness and funds concerning old people’s health, especially in defending and expanding Medicare.  

But first, please donate to this group, which I love, because it helps train low-income youth here at home reclaim bicycles and sends them abroad to help their counterparts.
