Bikes not Bombs is a local organization that describes itself as a social justice organization that uses the bicycle as a vehicle for social change.  The core principles are:

Reclaim - recycling discarded bikes and help community members reclaim their personal power and narratives

Empower - provide youth with hands on skills training, leadership opportunities, and clear pathways to economic mobility

Transform - transform futures through improved transportation access, environmental action, and advocacy for social justice.
