Help us do a little bit of good!

Human rights activist Desmond Tutu once said, "Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world."

It goes without saying that this year has been a little less than ideal, and more so for the less fortunate of us. That's why we feel it's necessary to band together to make sure we can do our little bit of good before the year is over to provide hundreds of care packages to boys across the country and raise money to award 3 college scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Spring.

From Giving Tuesday through December 18th a dedicated group of fundraising teams will compete to raise money and end the year on a high note. Your generous donation will help us meet our goal.

About Brother Box

Brother Box is a non-profit organization on a mission to inspire young Black boys to dream big and embrace their authentic selves. Through small moments of encouragement, we join boys on that journey, reminding them that they are seen, supported and valued. Our core belief is that if you stay true to the most authentic version of yourself and you dream big, set goals, and stay focused on your deepest desires, there is no limit to what you can do in this world.

We create tools and resources that help motivate and inspire Black boys to see the best in themselves and strive for a future they can be proud of. The three pillars of our work are our signature Brother Box care packages, thoughtfully curated content, and custom built experiences.

Since launching two years ago, Brother Box has raised almost $100,000 and distributed more than 3,500 care packages to kids across the country. Each Brother Box comes with a book, socks, tie, personal hygiene products, snacks, a “Know Your Rights” card from the ACLU, and a note of encouragement.

The organization was started by Taylor Culliver in 2018, who was simply trying to do a “little bit of good” for boys in his hometown. From there the organization has continually evolved. In the months to come we'll be launching a 10-month program designed to give students the resources and support they need to start their critical first year of high school on the right foot, growing their confidence and self-esteem, developing their character and leadership skills, and creating a deeper understanding of their path to college and a rewarding career.
