Meet our Honorary Captain - Jazy

Jazzy was first diagnosed with neuroblastoma on Valentine’s Day in 2019. Since then, she has bravely faced an incredibly difficult journey—enduring chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, two stem cell transplants, and immunotherapy. She was declared cancer-free twice, only to experience two relapses. With remarkable strength, she beat cancer each time.

Today, Jazzy is confronting her third relapse. Her family remains unwavering in their determination and hope, working closely with her medical team to pursue every available option. She is currently traveling to New York City for treatment and consultations. Her care plan includes chemotherapy to shrink the tumors, with the possibility of radiation, surgery, and MIBG therapy.

Jazzy and her family have been a part of the Capital Cup community since 2019. They are proud to give back by sharing her story and highlighting the vital role that the Ronald McDonald House of Albany has played in supporting them throughout their journey.
