Waterloo Wellington Down Syndrome Society is a charitable, non-profit organization that was created by parents of children with Down syndrome in 1988. We believe strongly in empowering those with Down syndrome (DS) and their families to be the best that they can be. Part of the way that we enjoy doing this is uniting with partners like CDSS to build awareness of and celebrate the strengths and value of individuals with DS. We proudly stand with them in their goal to continue to provide a diverse number of services that include awareness initiatives, a plethora of resources and advocacy incentives.
