100% of the funding raised directly benefits children and adults with disabilities and complex medical needs in Maryland, so they can achieve their aspirations for independence, health and meaningful life in their community.
Your Donation supports the Family Resource Fund
When a client of The Coordinating Center is in need of assistance, highly skilled coordinators (e.g., nurses, social workers, health coaches, housing coordinators) seek low- to no-cost resources to meet the need. The Coordinating Center’s Family Resource Fund helps people afford:
- Adaptive equipment (e.g., chair lifts, bath chairs, car seats, wheelchair tie downs)
- Assistive technology (e.g., communication devices, products for visual, hearing and speech impairment)
- Housing Services (e.g., one time rent or utility assistance)
- Medical equipment and supplies
- Respite services
- Other critical services and supports
With more than 9,200 people served statewide, it is critical that we grow this fund.
