We believe that angel babies are able to send their parents little signs and give them intuitions to know something about themselves. While this is obviously not an exact science, we believe we have a good sense of the personalities of all our children. Let me introduce you:

Carwyn is responsible and curious. He is often serious but finds so much joy and wonder in discovering new things. He is especially interested in learning about nature. If heaven has a forest, we imagine he spends most of his time there, looking at the plants and bugs. But the most important thing in the world to him are his two little sisters, who he takes amazing care of. If he had grown up, he would have wanted to be a fire fighter, and his favorite color is blue.

Tahlia is a wild child. She enjoys pranks and being silly for as long as her energy lasts--which is always a long time. She loves hockey (and contact sports in general) and has a special place in her heart for animals, who she loves playing with up in heaven. We think she likes foxes especially, since they are clever and mischevious just like her. If she had grown up, she would have wanted to join the peace corps, and her favorite color is orange.

Ayah is sweet and quiet, and she never ceases to see the beauty in the world aroung her. She is quite introverted, but she loves to sing and dance when no one else is around. If heaven has a meadow, we think she would love to skip through it, admiring flowers and butterflies and all the other beautiful things around her. If she had grown up, she would have wanted to be a teacher, and her favorite color is purple.  

There is not a day that goes by that we do not think about every single one of our children, and that is not a fact that we intend to ever change. Finding small ways to show our love for them helps us to be the best parents that we can, even now that they are far away. Thank you so much to the moms and dads who put this walk together every year to give parents like us one more opportunity to show our kids we will always love them.
