Dear Friends and Family,

This year, I will be hosting my fifth annual fundraiser for Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease.

In May of 2016, my dad was diagnosed with sporadic CJD, a devastating and rapidly progressive neurodegenerative disease. Shortly after his diagnosis, he passed away. Currently, there is no treatment or cure.

In his honor, I started this fundraiser to help support research and move us closer to a cure. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have raised over $40,000 to fund the Ross Melamed Family Research Grant, which directly supports ongoing research efforts.

I am so grateful for the love and support that continues to surround this cause. Details for this year’s Walk-A-Thon will be announced soon, and I hope you will join me again in making a difference.
