Rodrigo, a father, husband, friend, son, and brother passed away July 2025 of CJD. He came to this country as a young boy seek refugee from a regime in Chile. He built a life here with is wife and children. He made many friends, something he was able to do easily. He was charasmatic, friendly, a hardworker, and a great person. The world lost a a bit of its light the day he passed, but the good he spread through his actions never ended. CJD is very familiar in our family, as his father passed from CJD as well, and it will continue to plague our family. With the support from the CJD we were able to find support and answers to our questions. Our family wants to continue to give back in honor of Rodrigo to help find treatments and eventually a cure, to end this horrible disease.
