Christine Barry, née Broccolo, 77, of Avon, beloved wife and loving mother passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family April 23, 2026 after a short illness. Christine was born and raised in Westerly, RI, the daughter of Natale and Lena Broccolo, née Falco, where she graduated from Westerly High School, class of 1966. Christine worked in Electric Boat Federal Credit Union and Denton & Company Financial Services as a financial liaison and lived across Connecticut in Bristol, Canton, and Avon, the latter where she resided for 32 years. Christine later devoted her time to raising and supporting her family while maintaining a loving home; her sweet and kind spirit brightened the lives of those who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed. Christine leaves behind her husband Richard L Barry of 44 years and her two children, daughter Jessica Barry, and son Spencer Barry, in addition to sister Linda Johnson of Kings Bay, GA and brother David Broccolo of Palmetto, FL as well as many nieces and nephews.
