I am so proud that I have been selected for the official 2024 Range of Motion Project Climb Team for the 10th annual Climbing for ROMP campaign. This September, I will be heading to Ecuador with an amazing and diverse team of adaptive athletes, industry leaders, and disability rights advocates with one mission: provide high-quality prosthetic care to those without access! I have been working with and alongside adaptive athletes for over a decade, and this opportunity truly is a dream come true! To commemorate the significance of the 10th Annual Climbing for ROMP, has an ambitious goal: THREE teams climbing the THREE highest mountains in Ecuador (Chimborazo 20,549 ft, Cotopaxi 19,347 ft, and Cayambe 18,996 ft) and we are inviting thousands of people to join us in solidarity worldwide! In 2013, I climbed Cotopaxi, and this year, I will be climbing Chimborazo, the furthest summit from the center of the Earth. Over the next 3 months, I will be training in preparation to attempt the summit and personally fundraise $10,000 to fund high-quality prosthetics for those who need them most! I will also have a trip fee of $2,500, which does not include flights. Stay tuned for more details next month on which mountain team I will be joining! 100% donations will directly fund 250 prosthetics for those who need it most and will create the foundation for ROMP to expand to a third country in 2026!
