I'm climbing to help provide the gift of mobility for others. As an amputee, I know firsthand how life-changing it is to receive a prosthetic limb that allows you to pursue an active lifestyle free from disability. Having relied on my own prosthetic to rock climb, raft, hike, and play with my two kids I know how life giving a proper fitting prosthetic can be. After 13 years of chronic pain from a rock climbing fall and military service, I've experienced the profound impact of reclaiming independence and fulfillment after my amputation - but that is something that many don't experience due to lack of prosthetics. I summited Cotopaxi in 2022 with the ROMP team in an experience that redefined what I thought was attainable. The freedom and joy of that achievement was unmatched. Now, I'm taking on another mountain climb to raise funds for ROMP so others can access the same life-restoring opportunities I've been given. Together our goal is to raise 500,000 dollars for ROMP.
