Many of you may not know this, but I wake up every day with a chronic neuromuscular disease called CMT.   CMT is a disease that currently has no available treatments. Approximately 3 million people have CMT.  The CMT Research Foundation, cmtrf.org, has one goal: develop treatments and cures for CMT within our lifetime. It is the only CMT non-profit 100% focused on research and treatment discovery.   In just three years, the CMT Research Foundation has funded more than two dozen important scientific projects to bring treatments to market.
